Global Macadamias’ Business and Ethics aligns with the integrity and human rights that has formed the foundation of our organisation. We take a firm stance against bribery, fraud, and corruption. The Business and Ethics has been reviewed by the board of directors to align with our behavioural and ethical values.
Global Macadamias is committed to respecting the human rights and have set employment practices and policies. We are committed to managing operations in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
This ensures that our working environment promotes a safe and healthy environment for all. We have created an anonymous tip-off line for whistle-blowing which will protect the reporter against victimisation and discrimination. We encourage anyone to report any unethical or inappropriate behaviour.
We have a zero-tolerance approach to any unfair discrimination, intimidation, harassment, or any other violation of human rights. We promote the respect of all cultures and fellow workers, stakeholders, supplier, and customers. Let us stand together and grow our orchards with a healthy relationship.
PAIA Act
The Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), Act No. 2 of 2000. The PAIA give the effect to the constitutional right to access information held by the state or by any other person where such information is required for the exercise or protection of any right. The personal information requested must only be used for lawful purposes and only for which it has been adequately and relevantly been obtained. Global Macadamias endeavours to protect and safeguard all personal information which has been obtained, through permission in accordance with the PAIA act.
