Global Macadamias is committed to respecting human rights and have set employment practices and policies accordingly. We are committed to managing operations in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
This ensures that our working ecosystem promotes a safe and healthy environment for all. We have created an anonymous tip-off line for whistle-blowing which protects the reporter against victimisation and discrimination. We encourage anyone to report any unethical or inappropriate behaviour.
We have a zero-tolerance approach to any unfair discrimination, intimidation, harassment, or any other violation of human rights. We promote the respect of all cultures and fellow workers, stakeholders, supplier, and customers.
We uphold the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), Act No. 2 of 2000. The PAIA Act protects the constitutional right to access information held by the state or by any other person where such information is required for the exercise or protection of any right. The personal information requested must only be used for lawful purposes and only for which it has been adequately and relevantly been obtained. Global Macadamias endeavours to protect and safeguard all personal information which has been obtained, through permission in accordance with the PAIA act.
